Diff Checker

The Diff Checker app finds differences in text between two selected files.

1. Upload the files to the Instabase file system.

2. In the left navigation dock, click All apps.

3. Click Diff Checker.

4. Select original file.

5. Select modified file.

6. Select the output folder.

7. Select the Diff Mode: Line (default), Word, or Character.

8. Click Quick Compare or Compare and save. Select Compare and save to save the .ibdiff file in the output folder. The .ibdiff file contains the diff content.

After the compare is completed you can change the way you view the diff results.

• Click Inline or Split to change the Display Type to review the differences.

• Drag the Wrap Text slider to turn on and off text wrapping.
