What’s new
Manipulate extracted values with derived fields
While AI Hub allows users to create their own custom fields for data enrichment and manipulation, some are held back by a lack of coding knowledge. That’s where derived fields come into play. This new feature allows you to compute values from other extracted fields using natural language prompts—no coding required. This means anyone can easily add logic, calculate metrics, and transform values within their projects. Simplifying complex tasks has never been easier, empowering users to harness the full potential of AI Hub without needing technical expertise.
Monitor performance with deployment metrics
We’ve introduced deployment metrics for enterprise customers that offer insights into automation rates, document handling times, and overall solution performance. This feature enables operations teams to identify areas for improvement, whether it’s specific fields in your app or how review teams handle certain documents. You can also configure thresholds to proactively spot deviations, helping ensure that your deployments operate at peak performance.
Improve your prompts with a single click
Writing prompts can be challenging, especially for newcomers. That’s why we’ve built in logic and optimizations that work behind the scenes to make document processing as easy as naming a field, defining a class, or describing the data you want. Our Enhance Prompt feature brings a new optimization to the forefront, checking and rewriting your reasoning prompts for clarity, conciseness, and coherence. This means you can achieve accurate results effortlessly, allowing you to focus on extracting valuable insights without the hassle of perfecting your prompts.
Visualize OCR accuracy with heatmaps
We understand that document quality varies widely, impacting OCR performance. Our new OCR heatmaps feature allows you to test different digitization settings and visualize their effects on OCR accuracy. By providing a before-and-after preview with color-coded confidence scores, you can easily identify which words may need adjustment and if they improved, ensuring that you achieve the highest accuracy possible in your data extraction.
Converse enhancements: Chatbot analytics and URL scraping
AI Hub Converse and Chatbots have received significant updates. You can now access usage data and user feedback for your chatbots, helping you refine their performance. Additionally, we’ve added the ability to import webpages and hosted PDFs directly into your conversations. This enhancement makes it easier to gain insights from diverse unstructured content, broadening the scope of information you can converse with.
Additional improvements
- Copy Build projects: Projects can now be duplicated, including into other workspaces, making it faster and easier to kickstart new projects. Files, classes, fields, cleaning logic, validation rules, and project settings are included in the copied project.
- Native Excel Digitization: Excel files (.xlsx) can now be processed in their native format by default, improving the handling of wide tables. Note that advanced features like macros and data validation are not supported, and files must be smaller than 1 MB.
- Expanded List Attributes: We’ve increased the maximum amount of allowed attributes in list extraction fields from 10 to 30, which enhances the versatility of your data extraction.
- AI Hub Python SDK Update: The Python SDK now supports running deployments, offering developers more flexibility in managing their AI Hub solutions.
